When you read the good old story when David, slays Goliath with sling and stone in the Holy Scriptures of, 1 Samuel 17, one of the first thing you notice is that, the Israelite Army including King Saul were ”dismayed and terrified” of the giant. Goliath started and ended each day with taunts up to forty days. As this continued, it demoralized and diminished the fighting capability of the Israelites. They began to believe in spite of their best efforts, something undesirable was going to happen to them i.e. their defeat. This is basically the definition of fear—the belief that something is out there is going to get you and that, you can’t do anything to stop it. Fear can manifest itself in many different ways— uncontrolled stress which manifests into anxiety then depression. Other ways includes nervousness, worry, dread, hopelessness, panic, insomnia, addiction to drugs ,alcohol and food. Fear which is spiritual can now affect your physical health and bring about problems such as chronic heartburn, unspecified skin rashes, bowel problems to name a few. These can spring up in your life from a variety of sources. Perhaps you experience fear as a result of the environment in which you were raised; you have been maltreated or abused physically or mentally, your family or and friends have made it look normal to be in fear; you feel like you’re left behind in life- all your friends are getting married and having children; the fear of getting old and cant have children; or perhaps you experience fear as a result of trying to conceal mistakes and imperfections in your life; you are ashamed of something you’ve done in the past, and you worry that one day it will be made public and brought to light; you experience fear as a result of trying to control too many things in your life or you realized that most things in your life are out of your control, and this makes you fearful about what will happen in the future.
Fear can get a foothold in your life and begin to dominate you. It can demoralize you and ultimately diminish God’s [ADONAI-Elohim] glory in your life. Fear can chew away your life, erode your sense of confidence, rob you of sleep, blind you and steal your praises to God. Fear is a relentless weapon the enemy uses to trap and connect you to himself. And it is one that must be broken through the power of Jesus Christ [Yeshua] our Commander in Chief. The solution to facing the giant of fear in your life is not by determination, but by faith in Yeshua [Jesus Christ]. It isn’t so much saying, “Fear, go away,” but confessing, “I have confidence that, Jesus Christ is bigger than this giant and has already defeated it.” In Romans 10:17, Paul states, “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Messiah” . When you see and hear God in and through his Word, the Word allows you to see and hear that HE is bigger than your Fear. This builds up your faith, and your faith in turn becomes the ‘stone’ that drops the giant of fear in your life. David used the word by faith in 1 Samuel 17:45, ”Then David said to the Philistine, “You are coming to me with a sword, a spear and a javelin, but I am coming to you in the Name of Adonai-Tzva’ot, God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.” . The Holy Scriptures tells us in John 1:1-18 that, the word became flesh and dwelt among us as Yeshua [Jesus Christ].
Brothers and sisters, identify the source of your fear and place it in the hands of Yeshua today. Remind yourself that with Adonai all things are possible; put your trust no man but God alone; you will be disappointed if you put your trust in mankind. Jesus Christ will overcome all your Fears; HE made a promise in the book of Matthew 19:26, And looking, Yeshua said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Money will not take away your fear; being content with what God has given you now, will bring Jesus Christ to the scene in times of trouble. Hebrews 13:5 reminds us that, ‘Keep your lifestyle free from the love of money, and be content with what you have. For God Himself has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you,”. Yeshua also gave us a significant advice about the troubles of life in Matthew 6:34, He said that, ”Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Before every battle, there is a briefing or speech by a commander to their troops, however you build courage to follow your leader into a war zone not by their persona but by their capabilities as a leader. Our Commander in Chief Yeshua, told us in the Holy Scriptures of Matthew 7:15-20 that, “Watch out for false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruit [LOVE]. Grapes aren’t gathered from thorn bushes or figs from thistles, are they? Even so, every good tree produces good fruit, but the rotten tree produces bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a rotten tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will recognize them by their fruit. Brothers and sisters, who do you spend your time listening to? Are they growing your faith or growing your fear? As a disciple of Yeshua, the opposite of fear isn’t courage but Faith in God. Yeshua our commander in chief said in Matthew 21:18-22 that, ‘faith in God can move mountains’- And whatever you ask in prayer, trusting, you shall receive. The Holy Scriptures reminds us in Joshua 1:9 that, ”Have I not commanded you? Chazak! Be strong! Do not be terrified or dismayed, for Adonai your God is with you wherever you go.”
Take a moment Brothers and Sisters, and name what is keeping you up at night- grab a pen and write them down, and then offload those cares to the One who has promised to care for you. Cast all your worries on Him, for He cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7. Remember we are not like others- one of our weapons is Praise and Worship; they are so powerful in breaking any chain of fears attached to our lives. Don’t spend so much time listening to songs of this world and watching immoral television programs or be addicted to social media – these are currently the secret weapons the enemy is using to trap you with fear. ‘You no longer become content in life and want to be what you see and hear’. So, grab your sword which is Jesus Christ against ALL your fears and fill your mouth and heart with Praise and Worship to our God. You will begin to see God’s might, recognize his LOVE for you, and know that HE will always come through. Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us that, ”Because of the mercies of Adonai we will not be consumed, for His compassion’s never fail. They are new every morning! Great is Your faithfulness”. if you have fear, simply put all your hopes onto our Lord Jesus Christ- YESHUA today and victory will be yours.
I relegate fear to its proper place; into the hands of Jesus Christ- Yeshua today; Adonai, my Lord God is bigger than my fears and has overcome. Amen

Accepting Yeshua [Jesus Christ] in your Spirit [heart]
There is a Promise in the Holy Scriptures at John 3:16, ‘For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life’ .
Jesus Christ foretold the ‘signs of the end of time’ in Matthew 24, …the Good News of the kingdom shall be proclaimed in the the whole world as a testimony to all nations and then the end will come.
All you have to do now is accept YESHUA– Jesus Christ as your Messiah in your heart; and if you do this willingly this day at this very hour, you will be saved just like the criminal on the cross with Jesus Christ in Luke 23:42-43, ”And he said, “Yeshua, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”Yeshua said to him, “Amen, I tell you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” There is no true loving parent that will lock their door in the middle of the night to a rebellious child. They either wait for them to come back or go out looking for them. So what do expect Our Loving Father HaShem to do? The door to come back into the kingdom of God is open for you. Yeshua is the only way to the Father. Is never too late to be saved and there is no sin ever committed that, God can not forgive, if you willingly come to HIM with repentance.
Now tell someone you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal saviour today; Jesus Christ called everyone to Himself publicly.
Yeshua is the Lion of the tribe of Judah that was slain for all your sins and with HIM you will face no judgement on the last day, no matter your religion, gender, race or believe. The Holy Scriptures of Revelation 5 promises us that, by Yeshua’s blood shed on the cross we are all saved. Just believe…
God bless you, Amen Amen Amen.
