What Changed Angels Into Demons?

What changed angels into demons? The simple answer is Pride! Angels disobeyed the commands of GOD [ADONAI-Elohim], due to ‘invisible dark spirit of Pride’. The Holy Scriptures tells us in the book of Revelation 12:7-9 that, ”And war broke out in heaven, Michael and his angels making war against the dragon. The dragon and his angels fought, but they were not strong enough, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down—the ancient serpent, called the devil and satan, who deceives the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. Don’t be deceived for a split second in and think there is no devil; satan and his demons are still active in this world striving to derail you from God’s Kingdom 24/7. Pride is an evil deed that comes from within and defiles a person. Our commander in chief Jesus Christ [Yeshua] warns us in Mark 7:20-23 that, …, “It is what comes out of the man that makes the man unholy. For from within, out of the heart of men, come evil intentions, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustfulness, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these evil things come from within and make the man unholy. ”Pride is the number one secret weapon the enemy uses to trap us to himself”. The enemy is then able to bring about afflictions and setbacks into our lives; that’s the reason why he was thrown out of heaven at the first place. ‘Anyone with pride is easily used as satan’s agent or ‘his catalyst’ in spiritual warfare.”

During my service as a soldier in the British Army; one of my many vivid experience was that, when a soldier shows disobedience, arrogance or pride, it affects the whole team within- sometimes called ‘morale‘. This can be detrimental and affect operational effectiveness on the battlefield. On most occasions, not only do the culprit gets punished after failing to obey commands or instructions but the whole team gets some form of disciplinary action to enforce command and control. My first experience of this was during an inspection of living area [Dormitory] by a superior in winter 2003, everyone’s items from lockers including mattresses and bed linens were thrown outside through windows. The simple reason was that an individual failed to live up to standards or expectations; and as a result, all of us have failed as team, to assist and support the individual. This did not make any sense and came across unfair after all the hard work put in, sometimes overnight or early hours of the morning. These involved ironing , boot polishing, cleaning, precise folding arrangements of personal belongings into wardrobes etc. Will you agree to an extent that, there will be no order or chain of command if this continues? There is order in Heaven Brothers and sisters; your afflictions from pride does not only affect you, but the closest people around- especially your family [please take a moment to reflect].

You can never win your daily battles with pride, because you create a barrier between yourself and our Lord YESHUA- Jesus Christ of Nazareth. If you honestly believe or been told you have pride, repentance is the key to your breakthrough, or you end up talking to yourself when you pray or starve yourself for nothing when you fast. The Holy Scriptures tells us in Proverbs 16:18 that, Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. One of the deep secrets why children of God, find it difficult to ‘navigate’ from afflictions or setbacks, is due to lack direction, because we have rebelled just like the devil and his angels. GOD hates pride, because it reminds HIM of the rebellion in heaven. There is therefore, no Leader, no Power and Authority – Yeshua-Jesus Christ- your weapon for everyday spiritual warfare’. These may be setbacks in your finances relating to debts, health issues , infertility, family breakdown or conflicts, educational problems, divorce, trauma from sexual harassment or an assault, setbacks in career and business just to name a few. Pride is a spiritual entity that connects you with darkness. Proverbs 11:2 tells us that, When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom. From our commander in chief YESHUA, He said in Matthew 23:12 that, “Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled, and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.

Pride will connect you to the devil, but humility will make you an angel and a soldier of Christ [Yeshua].

Amen
