A virus called COVID-19 swept across the World and disrupted all our lives. However, if you are only seeing a virus, then you’re not seeing all that’s taking place right now, and I want to tell you about a divine disruption. ”Everything visible and physical is preceded by that which is invisible and spiritual”. 2 Chronicles 15:5-6 reads, ”In those times there was no shalom (peace) for anyone coming or going, for there were many conflicts among all the inhabitants of the lands. Nation was crushed by nation and city by city, for God troubled them with every kind of distress.” Many nations in the world are now seeing another wave of the virus. In recent months, reports of several highly successful vaccines have given many people hope that the global COVID-19 pandemic is finally beginning to draw to a close. A vaccine prevents the body from getting sick by stimulating the immune system to produce antibodies. But what about the soul? If only there was a vaccine against spiritual illness? Our God Adonai Elohim wants to achieve something in the World, humility to the core because HE loves us. Brothers and sisters, you’re encouraged to pray for the Grace and Mercies of God, against “Food scarcity and Famine; what our world calls climate change”. Our God has always humbled great Nations and Kingdoms with PRIDE throughout scriptures by allowing an attack on their wealth [economies]; COVID-19 is just a dress rehearsal. ”The season’s ahead will be fearful and difficult” [read Revelation 9, Mathew 24] but cheer up- the battle has already been won with Christ Jesus [Yahusha].”
God takes the blame for what is happening because of HIS divine Will. There is nothing the enemy Ha’Satan can do on this planet without God’s Will. The book of Job reminds us of this. From the beginning, all the ways of the enemy has always been part of God’s plan. The enemy got the son of man Christ Jesus killed, but through this, salvation came to world by the blood shed on the cross and sin power over us all is broken. ”When God becomes your problem, only God can be your solution”. What He desires is for all people to stop doing things their own way and start turning their hearts and minds toward Him. 2 Chronicles 7:14 reminds us that ‘‘when My people, Over whom My Name is called, humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land”.
What is the point as a believer saying you have faith when it has never been tested? The big question is why does God allow these afflictions and trouble in our lives? In 2 Chronicles 15:5-6, we saw how God had caused the troubles that the Israelites were experiencing, but what was the purpose of disrupting their lives? The answer is found in 2 Chronicles 15:3, “For many days Israel was without the true God and without a teaching priest and without law.” Israel had lost three critical things in their journey as God’s chosen people. First, they had lost sight of the true God and instead chose to worship a number of other false gods. This current generation has chosen to worship Modern Day Idols. Secondly, they had lost their teaching priests, which means any knowledge of the truth that God had given them was also lost. Today, many churches and communities have been closed due to this COVID-19 crisis. Due to hardship, setbacks and afflictions, many believers have been derailed from reading their Bible daily and also seeking the word of God freely available online. Finally, they had lost the Law, which meant they had no standard for living and everyone was doing what was right in their own eyes. Many nations today, have made laws against the principles of GOD with the deception of equality and love; waving rainbow flags as national celebrations. Steve Jobs, US computer engineer & industrialist [1955 – 2011] famously said “…round pegs in the square holes...” those who have ears listen. Remember, for those reasons, God afflicted them with all kinds of trouble. He did so for one purpose, to get them to return to Him. He did it out of love.
The situation is similar today as well. In the middle of what you’re facing today, whether it’s job loss or health concerns or loneliness, take heart; by seeking God out, He will see you through your struggle. God strives to get our attention in sometimes very surprising ways. He will let things get as chaotic as they need to get until He gets our undivided attention. God’s power and glory manifests when there is chaos and troubles. While the distress and chaos of COVID-19 and all the restrictions that have come with it might be our wake-up call, what He ultimately seeks with us is a true connection. God wants to set our agenda, call all the shots and have us adjust our plans to what He says should happen. He wants conformity to His will, humbleness, submission to His authority and a relationship with us as His people.
Brothers and Sisters, I want to challenge you now to make connecting with GOD your goal. Consider 1 John 1:3, “What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Yahusha [Christ Jesus].” Amen, I tell you, God has given you a direct route through the Lord Christ Jesus, from whom you get the gift of eternal life and connection with the Father. Connect with God this day; for divine revelation and positioning. HE will walk you through this difficult season and deliver you to the other side. However difficult things might be, take a moment and reflect on your own life; flee from sexual immorality and all other forms of sin; you will come through this divine disruption stronger and better for the kingdom of God.

Our LORD YHWH, bring the leaders of the World closer to your son Christ Jesus [Yahusha], so they can lead us by your principles. Have mercy on us ALL.
