Christian fasting and prayer are biblical disciplines that help believers seek God with humility, repentance and focused devotion. At Invisible War Army, we encourage believers to set aside distractions, pray intentionally and return wholeheartedly to God, following the invitation in Joel 2:12.
Biblical fasting is more than abstaining from food. It is a voluntary period of self-denial combined with prayer, Scripture, repentance and obedience. This sacred discipline creates space for spiritual renewal, greater clarity and a deeper relationship with God.
Whether you are fasting and praying for breakthrough, healing, direction or renewed faith, the purpose is to draw closer to God and align your heart with His will. Fasting is not a formula for forcing a particular outcome; it is an opportunity to seek God sincerely, strengthen spiritual focus and grow in dependence upon Him.
Within spiritual warfare, fasting and prayer can help believers remain watchful, disciplined and steadfast in Jesus Christ. Through prayer, Scripture and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, believers are encouraged to resist distraction, stand firm in faith and pursue their God-given purpose.
Begin your journey prayerfully. Choose an appropriate fast, establish a clear spiritual purpose and devote time to prayer and Scripture. Seek God wholeheartedly and allow the Holy Spirit to direct each stage of your journey.
Without REPENTANCE, your FAITH in God, YHWH, is useless.
