Christ Jesus [Yahusha] said ”a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household” [Matthew 10:36 NIV]
The enemy can use all sorts of mediums such as people [Luke 8:27], animals [Matthew 8:31], objects [Acts 19:19] and places [Luke 4:5] to attack the children of God. Many Christian household are experiencing trouble and turmoil simply because of the bad spirits connected to an object(s) that has been bought innocently into the home. Remember the enemy’s tactic of deception; he can come with a smile; yet planting a medium for connection with darkness.
We must be aware of the enemy’s tactics. Our enemy wants to immobilize us and keep us from progressing in our spiritual lives, and therefore, he will come with many different attacks. He wants to keep us from building and completing the work that God has called us to.
Because our enemy is both wise and relentless, we must be aware of his tricks and schemes. 2 Corinthians 2:11 reminds us that, “in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.” One of the reasons many Christians become immobilized and ineffective in their callings is because they are unaware of the enemy’s tactics.
Today, many see an association of evil spirits with objects such as voodoo dolls, crystal balls, Ouija boards, or other products related to the occult. Though it is possible for demons to work through such objects, demons appear to focus on deceiving people, not attaching themselves to these things but rather in everyday items.
Do you see yourself wearing those same clothes you got as a present in many dreams; or dream seeing that same present you received at your wedding over and over? Or perhaps it was at your engagement party, graduation, birthday, anniversary celebrations or Christmas? These items may be the contact point for Satan and his demons in our lives. Many lives are in shackles of great mess, disappointment, no marriage, divorce, barrenness, poverty, failure, setback and backwardness as a result.
Brothers and sisters, learn to pray over gifts and presents and cover these with the blood of Christ Jesus. Now take back everything the enemy has taking from you and cancel every connection with the enemy in Christ Jesus name.
