Fasting & Prayers

God knows what you are going through, he notices when you turn to him because he is watching you carefully.
We have to destroy our sinful desires to allow growth in all areas of our lives as we become that seed that goes into the soil.
The Holy Spirit aims to lead us according to God’s will. We should allow Him from this day to take the reins instead of letting our personal ambitions drive us.
Our hearts and mouths are closely interconnected and require constant inspection to ensure acceptability in God’s sight.
Just like we have a desire to grow up physically, God also has a desire for us to grow spiritually.
‘People who do not take care of their relatives, and especially their own families, have given up their faith in GOD. Such people are worse than unbelievers’ (1 Timothy 5:8)
Many of us have idols; the problem is that we don’t recognize them for what they are. Idolatry isn’t confined to worshipping a golden statue or praying to trinkets. It’s much broader than that.
When we work, we work, when we fast & pray God works. ‘Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of realities not seen’ (Hebrews 11:1).
