Overcoming Darkness: Spiritual Warfare in The Kingdom of God

Raphael Rabbi in camouflage jacket, Christian overseer of deliverance ministry, spiritual warfare mentor under the leadership of Jesus Christ

When Raphael Rabbi chose to be “born from above” for God’s Kingdom, he remembered what Jesus Christ said to Nicodemus in John 3:3. He believed that YHWH, our Shepherd, would help him find peace-leading him to green pastures and calm waters (Psalm 23:2). Raphael Rabbi did not know that accepting Christ Jesus as his Saviour meant he was joining the Army of God (2 Timothy 2:3). little did he know that is a spiritual warfare against spiritual forces of evil, in the heavenly realms. The good news is that; there are many spiritual warfare scriptures to empower us with the power of God.

A Spiritual Battle Unseen

From Matthew 10:34–36, he has learned that believers are soldiers and Jesus didn’t come to bring peace, but a sword. By following Yahusha, your family or close friends may become your enemies. They often do not realize this in a spiritual way. Christ Jesus warned us that a person’s worst enemies may be members of their own household.

Raphael Rabbi have found that we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. This means that dark forces are trying to defeat us in the spiritual realms. They want to stop us from entering God’s Kingdom.

Our struggle is not against flesh and blood. It is against rulers, authorities, and powers of this dark world. We also struggle against evil spiritual forces in the heavenly realms [Ephesians 6:12].

Keep this truth in mind: everything visible and physical is preceded by that which is invisible and spiritual. The Holy Scriptures tell us in John 10:10 that the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. Every demon has the same mission, though their strategies and tactics may differ.

A spirit of fear attacks your faith; consider the story of David and Goliath as an example. Conversely, a spirit of rejection attacks your identity [John 15:18]. The enemy is strategic and organized, sending specific evil spirits to distract believers from their God-given purpose.

Raphael Rabbi prayer for you, brothers and sisters, is that, as you connect with the Invisible War Army. With the Holy Spirit’s help, you can see the spirits that oppose your life and the lives of your loved ones. May you also develop skills to fight back in this spiritual battle. Spiritual bondage can manifest in various ways — in our spiritual life, health, relationships, marriage, finances, family, education, career, or business.

Fortunately, the good news is that victory is ours. By using our God-given authority, we can face these challenges. We can succeed in spiritual warfare with the power of God in the name of Jesus Christ.

The Holy Scriptures tell us in 1 John 5:4: “For everyone born of God YHWH overcomes the world. And the victory that overcomes the world is our faith.”

In SummaryThe Invisible War

Spiritual Rebirth: Being “born from above” (John 3:3) invites us to join God’s Kingdom. Moreover, it encourages us to live under His guidance (Psalm 23:2).

Unexpected Calling: Accepting Christ means joining God’s spiritual army (2 Timothy 2:3). It’s not just about finding peace; it also involves active duty in spiritual battles.

Jesus Brought a Sword: Christ did not come to bring peace; rather, He came to divide—even families. This reveals spiritual opposition (Matthew 10:34–36).

Spiritual Warfare is Real: Indeed, we face unseen enemies—spiritual forces, not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12). Although we cannot see it, what we cannot see affects everything we see. The enemy is strategic -wants to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10).

Tactics of the Enemy:

  • Spirit of fear attacks faith (e.g., David vs. Goliath).
  • Similarly, the spirit of rejection targets identity (John 15:18).
  • Moreover, demons organize and assign themselves specific purposes to derail destinies.

Call to Awareness and Action: Believers must recognize spiritual forces and learn to fight back.

Areas of Bondage: Spiritual attacks can affect all aspects of life—faith, health, relationships, finances, and more.

Victory Through Christ: Despite opposition, believers are more than conquerors. Faith is the key to overcoming the world of its spiritual powers (1 John 5:4).

Prayer and Mission: The mission is to wake up, prepare, and bring together believers. They will fight the unseen battle and follow their true purpose for the glory of God.
