My Background and Struggle
My name is Anthony Munene. I am 24 years old, from Kenya, and currently in college.
For more than 10 years, I battled lustful desires that went against God’s commandments. I practiced abominable sexual behaviors with both men and women. I tried to stop many times, but it felt like a force beyond my control pushed me back into sin.
My education and relationships suffered greatly. Studying became impossible as my mind was constantly distracted. School no longer interested me, and eventually, I dropped out, failing in many areas of life. Prayer and Bible reading also stopped because guilt weighed me down every day. Isolation followed as I withdrew from family and friends.
How the Struggle Began
This struggle started after an encounter with a friend about 10 years ago. Since then, I experienced disturbing dreams. I often saw myself sleeping with people or being attacked in my sleep.
Alongside the dreams came addictions to pornography, masturbation, and constant same-sex urges. These thoughts filled my mind day and night, leaving me spiritually, emotionally, and mentally drained.
My First Deliverance — November 30, 2023
Last year, I joined an interactive prayer session on WhatsApp video with the man of God, Raphael Rabbi. On November 30, 2023, during that session, he prayed for me, and I received my first deliverance from many demons, including the “spirit of man” that had oppressed me.
The session was not easy. My phone had network issues, but the servant of God patiently called me back multiple times. During the prayer, I felt intense heat, a severe headache, and stomach pain. I vomited heavily on the floor and fell into deep sleep. When I woke, I felt lighter, free, and filled with peace.
Life After the First Deliverance
After that deliverance, my desires for sexual sin disappeared. I no longer struggled with same-sex urges or immoral thoughts. I regained confidence, interacted freely with people, and most importantly, returned to school to continue my studies.
Second Deliverance — Easter Sunday 2024
Earlier this year, I began having disturbing dreams again—this time of being attacked sexually by a man. I sent a prayer request, and the servant of God called me on Easter Sunday 2024 for a follow-up session.
During prayer, he explained that the Holy Spirit revealed a hidden demon left during the first deliverance, now manifesting in my dreams. As he prayed, I felt intense heat all over my body, sharp stomach and back pain, and drowsiness. I don’t remember everything, but I awoke to find the man of God still praying. The pain left me, and I vomited again.
Receiving the Holy Spirit and Peace
After the deliverance, Raphael Rabbi prayed for me to receive the Holy Spirit. As I stretched out my hands, they felt heavy, like something was placed in them. My whole body shook, as if electricity flowed through me.
That day, I received freedom, peace of mind, and the blessing of the Holy Spirit.
Living Free and Serving God
Today, I am a free young man. I have no sexual urges for sin, I sleep peacefully, and I focus on my education. I am ready to serve God in my generation.
Surely, on the cross, there is deliverance and salvation. Distance is no barrier to the move of God.
