Struggling With Lust for Nine Years
My name is Stanley Gbakorun Aondowase, and I am from Nigeria. I struggled with the spirit of lust for nine years.
I tried everything to stop. However, I always returned to watching pornography and engaging in masturbation, even though I am married. The longest I stayed free was about three days. Then it felt like a supernatural force of darkness pulled me back.
I fasted and prayed countless times. Yet, I believed God was not hearing me. The guilt kept me from drawing close to Him. My prayers and Bible study became rare.

This battle affected every area of my life. I had no affection for my wife, and our marriage faced many challenges, including multiple miscarriages.
My career suffered as well. I had not received my salary for almost a year and a half. At the same time, my mother was seriously ill and hospitalized.

The urge to watch pornography and masturbate has stopped. I no longer think about them, and it has been months since my deliverance.
On August 31, 2023, I received all my unpaid salary from the past year and a half. A week later, my mother was discharged from the hospital, fully healed.
My marriage has also been restored. I now have affection for my wife, and we are expecting a baby. We believe the spirit of miscarriage has been defeated.

I pray the Holy Spirit will strengthen me to follow Jesus all my days.
