A Testimony of God’s Power
My name is Charity Tsholo. I am 30 years old and from Botswana. I want to testify about my marriage restoration after divorce.
The God we serve is truly the God of resurrection. Even when a marriage seems completely dead after three years of separation, marriage restoration after divorce is possible through prayer and fasting.

I joined Raphael Rabbi for a seven‑day fasting and prayer session. During this time, I followed the daily prayer points sent through WhatsApp with faith.
Step by step, I prayed specifically for marriage restoration after divorce. As I persisted, I trusted God to heal broken communication, remove pain, and rebuild trust.
The Bible reminds us in Mark 10:9: “What therefore God has joined together, let no one separate.” Therefore, I held tightly to this scripture as my anchor during fasting.
Biblical Encouragement for Restored Marriages
The journey of marriage restoration after divorce can feel impossible. However, Jeremiah 32:27 says, “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”
Because of this promise, I prayed over my spouse, asking God to soften hearts, restore love, and remove past bitterness. Eventually, we began to speak again, and healing started to take place.
Prayer Points for Marriage Restoration After Divorce
- Prayer for Forgiveness – “Lord, help us forgive each other as You have forgiven us” (Colossians 3:13).
- Prayer for Unity – “Lord, make us one in purpose, love, and faith” (Philippians 2:2).
- Prayer for Love – “Lord, pour Your love into our hearts” (Romans 5:5).
In addition, these prayer points guided me daily during the seven‑day fasting.
A New Beginning After Divorce
Today, my marriage is restored. Now, we are happy again, eagerly awaiting a new ring and the celebration of our new vows. This shows that marriage restoration after divorce is possible with faith in God.
