Struggling With Masturbation Since 2017
My name is Peter Dansa from Malawi. I am 20 years old.
I began masturbating in 2017 when I was 14. This habit affected my spiritual life in many ways. Sometimes, I could not even attend church because of the guilt in my heart.
Every time I fell into the sin, I faced spiritual and emotional struggles. I tried to stop many times, but I would only last a week before going back to the habit.
Seeking Help Without Success
I sought advice from friends. Some told me to get a girlfriend, thinking it would help.
However, this never worked. I still preferred masturbation and avoided relationships with girls. Over time, I isolated myself and lived a secluded life.
Breakthrough Through Fasting and Prayer
Everything changed when I saw a post from the Invisible War Army on Facebook asking, “Is masturbation a sin?”
This caught my attention. After reading the scriptures, conviction filled my heart. Seeking help, I contacted the ministry.
Through WhatsApp, I reached out to Raphael Rabbi for guidance.. He advised me to join a seven-day fasting and prayer starting on May 11, 2023. I joined with faith, believing God could set me free.
Delivered From the Spirit of Lust
When the fasting ended, I did not immediately declare my deliverance. I wanted to wait and see.
Since the end of the fasting and prayer, I have not experienced any urge, thought, or desire for masturbation. I know God has healed me from the spirit of lust.
Living Free and Rebuilding My Spiritual Life
Now that I am free, I am focusing on rebuilding my spiritual life and my relationship with God.
I thank the Lord for using His servant, Raphael Rabbi, to bring a turning point in my life.
