Who Is Jesus Christ?

Who is Jesus Christ—Savior, Son of God, Judge, King? Discover the biblical truth with Invisible War Army International Christian Ministry’s powerful message.

A student from China was in a lecture about Ancient History at a top university in the UK. Suddenly, they exclaimed, “Oh my God, Jesus Christ is real?” My sibling shared this story with me while we drove from the university during the Covid-19 pandemic. They asked, “Did he really walk on this earth?”

Many people, like this student, do not know important historical and spiritual truths. Others have been misled and no longer believe. Let’s examine this situation from a different perspective. Here is an adult who travelled across continents to find knowledge and wisdom. Yet, this person does not know Jesus Christ, the Messiah—Yahusha HaMashiach. Jesus was a man who walked the earth and was also God. He healed the sick and raised the dead. He showed His power over nature. Even the wind and sea obeyed Him. This is shown in the Holy Scriptures, Matthew 8:23-27.

This was a man who stood before the people of His time and challenged them to identify any sin committed by Him. Christ set the moral code to its highest standard. Yahusha said, “You have already committed adultery in your heart by looking at a woman or man lustfully.” He taught us to love our neighbours as we love ourselves. He also taught us to love our enemies, even those who hurt us.

Brothers and sisters, pick up a Bible. It stands for Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. Read it to know Jesus personally. You will not regret it. In the book of John 15:19, Yahusha reminds us: “If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own. But you are not of the world, since I have chosen you out of the world; therefore the world hates you.” What does this mean to you?

Currently, the world population is approximately 7.7 billion people, and there are 7,353 living languages. Translators have rendered at least one portion of Scripture into 3,384 of these languages. The New Testament is available in 1,548 languages, with portions in 1,138. However, 3,969 languages have no Scripture of the Bible, affecting 252 million people. There are 2,617 languages in 161 countries where active translation or preparatory work has begun, impacting 5.4 billion people. As of October 2019, Wycliffe Global Alliance reports that translators have completed full Bible translations in 698 languages.

God created us all in His own image. Furthermore, Philippians 4:13 empowers us as believers, affirming that we can do all things through Jesus Christ because He strengthens us. There are many similar promises in the Bible. Nevertheless, because we are human and live in a world of darkness, we inevitably make mistakes. The Bible tells us in Psalms 147:5 that God is limitless, but we have limits. Additionally, Ephesians 6:12 states: “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the worldly forces of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” The enemy constantly attacks believers to make us stumble and divert us from our God-given purpose.

The enemy infiltrated spiritually during the canonization of the Holy Scriptures. This happened at the famous Council of Nicea in 325 CE. Emperor Constantine and church leaders are said to have banned spiritual books that threatened their goals. They also changed translations to confuse and mislead people about the Truth. Translators have translated the Bible from the biblical languages of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek.

Let’s look again at the Tower of Babel from the Bible. It was built in the land of Shinar, which is Babylonia, after the floods. The story of its construction, depicted in Genesis 11:1-9, explains the existence of diverse human languages. Originally, there was only one language at the beginning of existence, believed to be Hebrew—God’s language.

Brothers and sisters, we are making the same mistakes today. Instead of being happy, we focus on material things. We look for answers we cannot understand through advanced technology. “The world is now fractured, full of sin, like a virus that cannot be controlled.” Yahusha warned about the beast in Revelation 13:18. He said, “Here is wisdom: let the one who understands calculate the number of the beast. It is a number of a man, and his number is 666 (some manuscripts say 616).”

Our world today operates entirely on codes. The internet uses codes for everything—from emails and video calls to websites and bank transactions. Everything happening around us today and in the future is already written in the Bible. Open the book of Daniel in one hand, the book of Revelation in the other, and your daily newspaper in the middle. Yahusha (Ben-Elohim) foretold events like pandemics, wars, and famine. Don’t let anyone deceive you. Take the time to read the Holy Scriptures, and the Holy Spirit (Ruach ha-Kodesh) will guide you to understanding so you’ll be prepared. It will only end when the God of all creation says so—not man. And remember, in all things, God is still speaking.

Yahusha said in John 8:58, “Amen, amen, I tell you, before Abraham was, I am!” With this statement, He claimed eternal existence—even before the creation of heaven and earth. The Bible tells us in John 1:1-5, “In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were made through Him, and apart from Him, nothing was made that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overpowered it.” Jesus is the Word.

In the book of John 10:30, Jesus stated, “I and the Father are one,” claiming to be God. It’s no surprise that the people of His time wanted to kill Him and ultimately did. Jesus rose from the dead after three days, just as He said He would. Now, He sits at the right hand of God, the Father in heaven. He is still alive today.. There are over 2 billion searches on Google and YouTube for “Proof Jesus Christ is still Alive.” Is Jesus Christ who He says He is? Was He a liar, the biggest fraud ever known? Or was He delusional with His claims?

I, Raphael Rabbi, cannot prove this with science. However, archaeology and history proves that the name we all know is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Jesus Christ, who are You? This generation demands proof for everything to believe. We place our faith in technology, science, money, wealth, and government. Has anything truly changed in our lives?

Now, have faith in Jesus Christ, who is also God, and seek Him in your spirit (heart) and truth (read your Bible). John 4:24 tells us this deep secret.

I don’t just believe—I know in my heart that your life will change if you trust Jesus completely, just as you do every day. We sit in chairs, trusting they’re safe, and we write checks, believing the bank will honour them. Since we already exercise faith daily in worldly matters, why not extend that same faith to the spirit of light, which is invisible?

Investigate the track record of Jesus Christ in people’s lives around the world. Jesus Christ is changing lives, nations, and the world. Don’t let this world of darkness deceive you by denying God. Search Google to find testimonies and encounters people have had with the Messiah Jesus. All you have to do is repent—stay away from sin, have a forgiving heart, and believe He is the Son of God. Through His blood shed on the cross at Golgotha, you’re saved. Jesus Christ is now your commander-in-chief in all your invisible and visible battles if you believe in Him.

Now, Jesus spoke more about hell in the Besorah (Gospel) than any other topic. Why? The simple answer is that heaven and hell (Sheol/Gehenna) exist. The parable of the rich man and Lazarus is a well-known story of Jesus found in the Gospel of Luke 16:19-31. In this parable, Yahusha tells His audience—His disciples and some Pharisees—about the relationship during life and after death between an unnamed rich man and a poor beggar named Lazarus.

In Matthew 25:41, Yahusha tells us that God prepared hell not for humans but for the devil and his angels. Furthermore, when Jesus was preaching about the way to heaven to His disciples in John 14:1-14, He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life! No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Additionally, in Matthew 10:28, Jesus Christ said, “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the One who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna”. You cannot be afraid of death when you know Jesus.

Jesus speaks of Shalom (peace) in John 14:27: “Shalom I leave you; My shalom I give to you, but not as the world gives! Do not let your heart be troubled or afraid.” The shalom that Jesus Christ offers in our troubles is the antidote to fear. This peace is independent of our circumstances and comes only when we receive it from God the Father. It’s a peace that arises from keeping our eyes and hearts fixed on Him, rather than on the challenges we face.

Lord Jesus Christ, Save my Soul!
